Service Agreements (a.k.a. Extended Warranties) can be an excellent idea for the right person and situation.  Are you someone who buys AAA coverage for your cars?  Are you going off to college and want the peace of mind simply bringing your car to the shop and having it paid for offers?  In typical analytical manner consider the numbers.  AAA for eight years (the most common length of our no deductible, 100,000 mile "factory type" coverage) costs a little more than half our cheaply priced SA.  Since our SA comes with 24-HOUR EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE for things such as towing, flat tire assistance, gasoline and fluid delivery, jump-starting, lock-out service and more, FOR THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE AGREEMENT.  A rental car allowance is also provided to get you back on the road quickly.

A variety of service agreements are available for almost any car, even if you buy somewhere else. The service agreements Alliance sells for its cars are usually for eight years or 100,000 miles and offer coverage identical to the manufacturer’s original warranty with the following exceptions:

WHAT’S COVERED:  INCLUDES ALL ITEMS COVERED UNDER THE MANUFACTURER’S ORIGINAL COVERAGE except for those items listed under “Items not covered”  ITEMS NOT COVERED:  Any normal maintenance item including tires, wheels, struts, shocks, brake shoes or pads, rotors, or drums, belts, thermostats, hoses, filters, fluids, lubricants, clutch, pressure plate or clutch release bearing, engine and transmission mounts, CV boots, tune-up items.  Electronic equipment including sound reproduction components, alarm systems, wiring or wiring harness, telephone, clock, television, navigation equipment.  Any body parts, interior parts, trim, glass, paint, sunroof, air bag system.


RENTAL CAR REIMBURSEMENT:  In the event of mechanical breakdown of a covered component, the Agreement Holder will be reimbursed up to $45 per day for a rental vehicle for each four hours of covered repair time as determined by a national flat rate guide.  Total not to exceed $225.  Rental receipts required for reimbursement.
